Former House of Representatives member, Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency and a Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Busari Olayemi has urged the electorates to shun violence during and after the ongoing local government election in Oyo State.

Olayemi, a close ally to Governor Seyi Makinde, stated this after casting his vote at Ward 4, Unit 5, Olodun-Ajiwogbo, in Egbeda local government. When asked about the ongoing voting and the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission’s, OYSIEC preparedness, he said the process was “fantastic”.

He also urged the good people of Oyo State to massively vote for all candidates of the People’s Democratic Party in the ongoing election.

Olayemi said Governor Seyi Makinde had done a lot towards improving the lives of the people of Oyo State, hence the need for them to vote PDP in the ongoing local government election to continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

You should vote for PDP Chairmanship Candidates and all PDP Councilors in the ongoing election.

“This is for Us to continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy”

Olayemi said that Engr Seyi Makinde had developed Oyo State by providing necessary infrastructural facilities, calling on the people in the State to support all PDP Candidates.

He urged the people of the state to vote peacefully during and after the election.
