The second-term Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal lawmaker in the House Of Representatives, Akin Alabi has stated his commitment towards massive democracy dividends to Constituents.
The submission came at a mega Post Birthday- Food Palliative- Empowerment Ceremony held at his Brewery-Hope- Ibadan Political Base on Wednesday.
The event which drew thousands of newsmen, political stalwarts, and members of the All Progressives Congress, made plenty of the Constituents.
Speaking, the federal lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Akin Alabi said his second term at the House of Representatives has given him an edge over first-timers, including colleagues from Oyo State in the National Assembly.
Alabi noted that his mega post-birthday-food palliative-empowerment Programme was borne out of the need to give back to the Constituency.
” As a matter of fact, my first term, I could not do much for my Constituency, owing to the fact that several poverty alleviated programs funded were largely on loan.”
” Every time , I think of how to bring dividends of democracy to my Constituency, every second , and today, 2,500 constituents will be offered food palliatives as a cushion to the panging economy. “

The second-term federal lawmaker boasted that the All Progressives Congress, APC Party, alone, has the mind of empowering the grassroots citizens, urging the Egbeda/Ona- Ara Constituents to massively vote for the two anointed candidates, Hon. Dauda Bashiru Adeniyi (Dabas)(Egbeda) and Hon. Akanni Ere(Ona-Ara) in the forthcoming April 27 Local Government Election across the thirty-three (33) local government areas of Oyo State.
In his brief remarks, Egbeda Local government APC Candidate, Hon. Dauda Bashiru Adeniyi, fondly called “Dabas”, assured of credible grassroots turnaround cum youth and women empowerment if elected in the April 27 Local Council Elections.
The event captured APC local party chairman, Comrade Olawale, leaders including Former local government chairman and Oyo State Labour activist, Comrade Ibrahim Bolomope, Hon. Adeboje Murewa, Alhaji Suara, Egbeda Avant Garde Support Group, among others.
