In preparedness for its forthcoming occasion, the 2024 CANTATA & Cathedral Fund Raising Committee of Celestial Church of Christ, Ileri Oluwa Se Parish, Elewi Odo, Tokotaya, Ibadan, Oyo State, has met its patroness, Choir Pillar, and other dignitaries ahead of its Ceremony.
The meeting which was held at Lekki estate, Iyana’paja, and some other locations in Lagos State on Saturday 30, 2024, enabled a tete-a-tete discussion over the growth and development of the body of God, particularly, the Celestial Church of Christ Ileri Oluwa Se Parish in Ibadan.
Recall that last two week, the committee met with the Oyo South Senator, Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli, and the Deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Hon Fola Oyekunle.
Speaking as the presiding shepherd of CCC Ileri Oluwa Se Parish, Sup/Snr/Evang Olawale Oladele said the leadership took it upon itself to have a critical meeting in Lagos, noting that the meeting will enable possible resolutions on how to move the church of God forward.
Evang Oladele maintained that both the Life Juvenile Patroness, Mrs Adebola Funmilayo Onibokun, the Choir Pillar, Brother Ogidan Akorede, and other dignitaries above mentioned have greatly backboned the body of Christ over the years.
Reminding the hosts about the Proposes #75 million Building Project, Oladele added that through their support the project will see the light of day, noting that God only empowers those who will do His works.
“Many times, I think about this huge project, but, at all times I remember God, the owner of His church is at work. More so, there is no how one will not be happy having you our dear patroness, Mrs. Onibokun, Brother Akorede, and others. You are always there for the church, and this one, God will still use you for us”, he said.
In the separate responses, the Life Juvenile Patroness, Mrs. Adebola Funmilayo Onibokun applauded the wife of the presiding Shepherd of the church, L/S/S/E/S Titilope Olawale Oladele Shittu for her resilience, determination, and prayer, through which the church has further been sustained.
Mrs. Onibokun added that she was amazed by the visit, describing it as a “holy meeting”, and pledged to give all due support towards the proposed Cathedral Project and a humble donation towards the forthcoming juvenile anniversary. She urged all the Leaders in the vineyard to continue their spiritual, and moral support for the Shepherd Olawale Oladele because HE can not do it alone.
“I am conscious of the efforts of the Church of God over my family, business, and spiritual life. I will not renege my commitment to the church choir nor fail my promised fund donation towards our Cathedral Building Project.”
To Brother Ogidan Akorede, the leadership has taken so far coming from Ibadan to Lagos to honor him. He noted that the church of God has added positively to his life, saying his usual support for the church will not cease.
Appreciating their separate support toward the CANTATA & Cathedral Building Project, the church Secretary, Asst/Evang/Ishabiyi Oladimeji, and Choir Master, Brother Iyanuoluwa Wada thanked the hosts for their commitment toward the development of the ministry and pray that the Lord who does new things will forever bless them and make their smiles never end in Jesus name.
The meeting ended with a photo session, and prayer rain for Oyo State, 36 states of the federation, and the Celestial Church Worldwide.
