Oyo PDP has commiserated with the families of their party chieftains, in Ibarapa East and Ibarapa North,
Chiefs Solomon Ogunjimi and Gabriel Adetoyese, (Layi Baálẹ̀) (Ibarapa East and Ibarapa North), whose news of death broke out in the early hours of today respectively.
The party communicated their condolences to the deceased families through a press statement made available to news men from the office of the party’s acting publicity secretary, Mr. Michael Ogunsina who described the duo as loyal party Stalwarts.
The statement reads :
“We are deeply saddened by the losses of our two beloved party chieftains; Chiefs Solomon Ogunjimi and Gabriel Adetoyese, (Layi Baálẹ̀) (Ibarapa East and Ibarapa North), who died yesterday and in the early hours of today respectively.
“Until their death, they were loyal and dedicated members of the PDP family, who served the party and their hometowns with passion and integrity. They will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of us.
“We extend our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the government and our Party Leadership in Ibarapa North and Ibarapa East, the deceased families, friends, and colleagues.
” May God grant us all the fortitude to bear their irreparable loss.
May He also accept their returns and forgive them of their sins.
“We urge all PDP members and supporters to include the families of the deceased in their prayers
May their gentle souls rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
