Police Alleged Negligence As The Suspect Reportedly Jumped Bail In Oyo

Police authorities in Oyo state have been alleged of negligence over their inability to produce the suspect, one Mr. Sola Adeoye, a prime suspect in a suit number MT/NT/671/C2023COPVs Adenle Kehinde in court as required by law

The Complainant, Mr. Akinwunmi Fowora had in a petition to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 11 filed through his counsel, S.B. Fola esq a copy of which was made available to the Nigerian Tribune alleged Oyo police command of not producing neither the suspect nor his surety in court after being admitted to bail by the law.

The petitioner alleged that nonpresentation the the prime suspect in court has been stalling the proceeding.

It was added that the proceedings in the matter had taken place twice at the Iyaganku Magistrate court, Ibadan without the IPO presentation, thus stalling proceedings.

The prime suspect, according to the petitioner has not been re-arrested by the police authorities for his non-appearance in court.

The petitioner, thereby, appealed to the AIG to investigate the matter to apprehend the prime suspect.
