A breaking report has it that there was a mild drama on Wednesday within the Gambia football camp as the aircraft conveying its players to Ivory Coast for the African Cup Of All Nations 2024 went off oxygen.
Many of the players reportedly fainted as a result of suffocation but thankfully.
‘’An incident occurred during Gambia’s flight to AFCON – several of them fainted due to a lack of oxygen on the plane. The reason: is the size of the plane. Two of the national team players are still in shock following this traumatic experience. The plane returned to Gambia with the entire delegation on board.’’
In a video sighted by this publication, two players were seen sweating profusely after the plane returned to Gambia due to lack of oxygen.
However, none of the players lost his life.
