Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin Promises To Synergize With Federal Government On Youth Development

The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman, Nigeria Conference of Speakers, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin hosted the Special Assistant on Youth Initiatives, Monitoring and Delivery to President Bola Tinubu, Titi Gbadamosi.

Ogundoyin made this known in a post via his official Facebook page yesterday.

While playing host to the Ibadan-born aide to the president in his office on Monday, Ogundoyin maintained that the task before Gbadamosi transcends political party affiliations and must be approached holistically.

Ogundoyin, who acknowledged that Gbadamosi’s visit was not only strategic to his office as a young lawmaker added that it was in line with the agenda of the Conference of Speakers under his watch.

The Eruwa Lawmaker promised that his office would collaborate effectively with the executive arm of the federal government to implement youth initiatives policies and programs to foster socioeconomic emancipation among young Nigerians.

“The Ibadan-born Titi Gbadamosi who is the Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Youth Initiatives, Monitoring and Delivery paid a courtesy call on me in my office today (yesterday).

“She came to share her roadmap for her office with me and to also seek collaboration with the Conference of Speakers and by extension all State Assemblies on how to advance and promote youth initiatives and programs of the federal government.”

“According to her, she plans to harness all youth initiatives and programs across the country.”

“In my response, I assured her of the readiness of the Conference of Speakers to work with her office and the Youth Ministry towards the successful implementation of various youth-oriented programs of the federal government.”

“As a youth, I told her that the task before her is not about political party affiliation but about giving the necessary support and providing opportunities for the youth to prepare them for leadership responsibilities, enhance their academic and entrepreneurial pursuits, and ultimately improve their socioeconomic conditions.”
