A call has been made to an individual who claims herself as the Oyo State Iyaloja-General to desist from its informal stance.

The call was made on Sunday during a popular Yoruba current Affairs Show, fondly called ‘ So Kanwa’ on Agidigbo 88.7FM.

The call, made by trio public affairs analysts including Oriyomi Hamzat, Femi Babalola and its radio speaker indicates that Alhaja Saratu Konibaje remains the best candidate to be inducted the Oyo State Iyaloja-General.

The analysts stated that for any personality to emerge Iyaloja-General of any state must follow due process, including approval of the ministry of commerce, trade and co-operative, adding that no monarch has the legality to appoint Iyaloja-General in a democratic setting.

The analysts maintained that the ratification of Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje formally came from the market traders through its four months’ ago election, while this, the government through the ministry of commerce and trade is ready to seal it to enable healthy market leadership across the state.

However, the analysts called the rival of Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje in the state, over informal position of Iyaloja-General to desist from its unhealthy stance to avoid litigation and social disgrace.
