A support group of the All Progressives’ Congress, APC, in Egbeda Local Government Area, formally known as Avant-Garde, has announced its readiness to hold a day youth empowerment training.
The announcement came on Sunday during its October critical meeting held at the local government party secretariat , Segelu, Iwo Road, Ibadan.
The Presiding Chairman, Egbeda All Progressive Congress, APC, Avant-Garde noted that the training, slated for Saturday 9th December, 2023 was unanimously agreed for fuller empowerment of the party members, both youth and old for more economic development in an excruciating economic period in the country due to the removal of fuel subsidy, adding that any serious candidate at the training would in no small become averagely economically independent.
Speaking with newsmen, Public Relation Officer of the Avant-Garde , Egbeda All Progressives Congress in the Area, Kabir Isiaq maintained that the training would draw youths and interested middle aged from the eleven wards of the party in the area, while the ward chairmen would undertake the enlistment process with deadline on submission two weeks before the training date.
Kabir added that the support group unanimously agreed to embark on a poultry and Music training, noting that every candidate would be presented certificate of participation, while world class facilitators take the free training sessions.
Meanwhile, the Avant-Garde Group called on the well meaning leaders of the party at the local, state and federal for financial support for its massive intended performance for the party, implored members in general to continue strategizing and working harder to success in the forthcoming local government polls slated for April, 2024 in Oyo state.
Earlier in his remarks, local government party chairman, Comrade Olawale Olaleye called the members of the support group to maintain its pace without any fear nor intimidation, assured of positive impacts by the present led administration under Bola Ahmed Tinubu which strongly believes in youths development.
In attendance included, media aide to 2023 APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Razaq Akinrinade, Avant-Garde, Youth Leader I&II, Welfare Officer I&II, Women Leader, among others.
