The 2023 Mobilization officer to the Chairman of Nigeria’s Speakers, and. Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Opeyemi Ayanrinde has bidded interest in the leadership of the Association of Nigerian Broadcasters, Oyo State Chapter.
Hon. Ayanrinde, fondly called MC Swagger made the interest declaration on Thursday in Ibadan.
MC Swagger noted that the association needs holistic renewal, adding that he alone has what it takes to steer the association to its desired level,.if elected.
The Eruwa-born Human Rights Activist cum media practitioner who graduated in Business Administration and Communication from the Polytechnic, Ibadan maintained that it is high time the association elected him for its due transformation.
The globally media certified personality said his experiences had has enabled him to identify different weaknesses in the media industry including complexity in media contracts, poor compensation, hurt and life threats, copyrights and piracy among others, adding that every pointed challenge could be surmounted through his expertise, called members to massively vote him the chairman of the association.
” I have observed different issues such as complex nature of contracts, poor compensation, retaining personnel, hurt and life threats, copyright and piracy issues, adaptation challenges, discrimination and lack of efforts, harassment at workplaces, among other issues facing broadcasters in Nigeria”

Meanwhile, the Chairmanship aspirant, Ambassador Opeyemi Ayanrinde, MC Swagger called the association to unconditionally massively vote for him so as to engineer conducive working environment for every member of the Association of Broadcasters(ANB), Oyo State on Wednesday 11th October, 2023.
