Former Governor of Kano State and National Chairman, the All Progressives’ Congress, APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje said the party is ready to restructure itself from the Ward level to the federal level for it to attract more members.

The National chairman stated this at the Oyo State Party Secretariat, Oke Ado shortly after his visit to the recuperating Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu in Ibadan and the Olubadan of Ibadan’ s Palace, Oba Moshood Lekan Balogun on Tuesday.

Speaking, Alhaji Ganduje commended the state APC for the job well done during the last electioneering period which produced President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In his remarks, the All Progressives Congress, APC, State Chairman, Isaac Omodewu revealed that the Oyo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress is yet to be duly compensated for the work they did for the emergence of the incumbent president of the federal republic of Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the electioneering season.

“As events which heralded the last general election are still fresh in our memory, we must inform you that Oyo APC remains an unsung hero because we got little support but we delivered beyond expectations. In spite of the fact we had no sitting governor in Oyo, electioneering was quite challenging as we had to face a lot of hostilities from the PDP government in the state as sponsored thugs attacked our members on many occasions. “

“The same PDP hoodlums did not spare all our campaign facilities including billboards, vehicles, buildings among others which they attacked and destroyed at will. All these attacks were documented and reported but unfortunately, the same people behind the attacks are now the one laying claim to our hard-earned victory at the February 25 polls.”

“We have our records and we are using this medium to make a passionate appeal to your Office to launch a probe into the whole matter with a view to establishing the truth. As it stands today, we not getting fair treatment but we remain hopeful that things would change for the better.”

However, the visit became almost darkened as some unidentified persons suddenly stormed the street of Oke Ado, pelted the National Party chairman’s convoy.

One of the party members who preferred to be anonymous spoke to newsmen that members of the Oyo APC are disappointed by choice of the minister, Adebayo Adelabu, from Oyo state, stressed that the National APC leadership has cheated its party in the state, and continued through its romance with Governor Seyi Makinde who is a major opposition to the APC in Oyo State.
