Oyo Government Completes Rehabilitation Of Kishi Road, Set To Begin Work On Oyo, Ogbomoso, Ibarapa Zones

Oyo State Government has completed the rehabilitation of Kishi township road, also set to begin the Rehabilitation of OYo, Ogbomoso and Ibarapa Zones Roads.

This was disclosed recently by the Chairman Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency OYSROMA, Honourable Busoye Ogunlade while inspecting the level of ongoing Road Rehabilitation at Kishi and inspection tour to Oyo, Ogbomoso and Ibarapa Zones Roads set for Rehabilitation.

Honourable Ogunlade said that massive Rehabilitation of State roads is not limited to Ibadan City, as Oysroma has completed State Roads at Oke-Ogun while all is set to commence work on deplorable roads across the State.

He stated that the the move was in tune with the directive of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde as the Governor was aware of the challenges potholes has on our roads.

He said that Governor Seyi Makinde has promised that all areas where potholes exist will be addressed and that deplorable feeder and inner roads will be rehabilitated accordingly, urging the good people of Oyo State to exercise patience as rehabilitation is ongoing,

He emphasized that the impact of road rehabilitation is significant as it provides safety, Economic, Environmental and social well being benefits.

He also said that the Oyo state Government under the able leadership of Engineer Seyi Makinde, is working tirelessly to make sure that dividend of democracy is felt by all and sundry in Oyo State through provision of good roads which will bring about improved access to hospitals, Schools and Markets not only that but to improve comfort, speed, safety and lower Vehicle operating costs.

He mentioned that the ongoing Rehabilitation of State roads is to ensure smooth ride for motorists and pedestrian.

He stressed that the palliative work has started also and is ongoing where there are potholes and failed sections.

Ogunlade added that Oyo State Government would continue to make the people of OYo State’s welfare and well being a major priority.
