A popular Yoruba broadcaster, Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat has confirmed the emergence of the Iyaloja-General of Oyo State, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje as a genuine personality.
Oriyomi made the confirmation on Friday during his popular media brand “Kokoro Alate”.
The ace broadcaster noted that Alhaja Saratu Aduke has remained the only elected leader as the Iyaloja General by the state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, leadership of state markets owing to her dedication, hospitality, humility and enterprising nature, thus indicates her intricate personality.
Dr. Oriyomi maintained that he was aware of some unreckoning personalities parading themselves the Iyaloja-General in the state, warned traders against dubious persons not recognized by the government and market stakeholders to avoid misinformation and swindling.
The founder of Agidigbo radio hinted that Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje, being recognized in Oyo State would soon make her inducted, added such would definitely separate the wheat from the chaff.
Meanwhile, Oriyomi congratulated Alhaja Saratu for finally flooding her glory enemy, called the traders in the state to warmly receive the Iyaloja-General for a worthwhile world class renewal and development across the markets in the state.
Recall, Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde had directed market traders in the state to follow due process through election to elect Market Leaders in which Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje polled seven votes against her main challenger, Mrs Folashade Abeo who scored two votes in a closed-door peace building election involving 11 clusters on April 5, 2023 by stakeholders in the State and has since then await to receive certificate of office by Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.
