A federal lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency Representative, Adedeji Stanley Olajide, fondly called Odidi Omo, has facilitated an empowerment project through the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Federal Ministry of Communications, and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). This groundbreaking initiative, titled “Digital Skills for Artisans,”.
The empowerment through honourable Minister of Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy, and Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Chief Executive Officer of NITDA.
Hon. Olajide promised to equip local craftsmen and women with essential digital skills that are becoming increasingly vital in today’s evolving world.
“This program aims to empower artisans and promote digital inclusion across various communities.”, he said.
In an age where technology continues to reshape industries and daily life, ensuring that everyone has access to digital skills is of paramount importance. Rep. Adedeji Stanley Olajide recognized this need and championed the cause of artisans in his constituency. As the Chairman of the Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity, he has taken proactive steps to bridge the digital divide among his constituents.

Earlier, he empowered over 40 youths with digital skills in digital marketing and website design, and these individuals have since thrived in their respective fields.
