Toward consolidating education mandate of the governor of Oyo State, chairman, Oluyole Local Government Council, Hon. Popoola Olaide Settle has set aside free holiday coaching centres for students both in Junior and secondary schools.
The chairman made the announcement today in Ibadan, noting that he would do everything possible to engender education of students in his council.
Hon. Settle added he believed is effort would go along way as palliative in his little disposition as an elected officer, maintaining that a nation with sound education rules the world.
The chairman said he selected four centres strategically within the Oluyole Local Government which would help most poor children to remain in school throughout the holiday.
The centres include
• MUSLIM GRAMMAR SCHOOL, ODINJO
• PROSPECT HIGH SCHOOL, ABANLA
• MOLETE HIGH SCHOOL, OLOGEDE, NEW GARAGE
• OLUNDE COMMUNITY SECONDARY SCHOOL, JOGBIN
taking-off from 14th August to Wednesday 13th September, 2023
TIME: 9am – 1pm
Meanwhile, Hon. Olaide settle implored patents to monitor their wards as the coaching opens to them as to meet required mandate of the state government on quality and qualitativeness.
