One of the 2,700 Oyo-Nazarawa Farm Business beneficiaries, Mr Abdulsalam Adio has predicted food surplus in Oyo State.

The beneficiary made this know newsmen in Ibadan on Sunday as his batch returned to the state after two weeks of intensive farm business training in Nazarawa.

Mr Adio noted that the administration of Seyi Makinde really means well for the state ,especially youth development one of which the state government organized for serious youth indigenes of the state tagged “Agro-Business Training Programme in Nazarawa” which exposed the beneficiaries to rudiments of farming and at CSS Farms led by an Israeli professional, Mr John Kennedy ,fondly called “Man of God” and from the federal university of Agriculture, Abeokuta which owns Prof.John Musa.

Adio boasted that the initiative would help in food supply in the state, adding that within the two weeks, the beneficiaries had learned positive farm skills which when the youths fully commence activities with the expecting start-up capital from Seyi Makinde led administration, there would be a positive food security and reduced youth joblessness, adding that the beneficiaries would have turned a millionaire.

However, the beneficiaries pledged to do the state proud, charged other Non-governmental organizations to support the present administration in the state as to re-engineer the Agricultural sector for eventual food security and multiple job opportunities inherent in the practice.
