It was a sad day of Sunday, 23rd July, 2023 in Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State as the Doctor of Baptist Medical Centre(BMC), Dr David Sesan David and a staff, Nike Ogunade were allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen to unknown destination.
An anonymous respondent who confided in naijatodaynew.com said the Doctor and a staff were allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen on said date shorty after his closure from work around 6:45-7:00pm.
She said, that Dr David Lawal had a lot of engagements which compelled him to attend to all patients, as that took him several hours till 7:00pm before his departure.
The source added, while he was about to leave, he carried a staff named ‘ Nike Ogunade because she could not find a commercial motorcyclist to take her to her designated destination.
The source said, she and others who were at the hospital were surprised to have heard sound of sporadic shootings from a nearby point shortly after the Doctor had left.
She maintained that, she and others were in a state of fear as but they could not summon courage to know what was happening.
She said, it was after they could not hear any sound of gun shuts, they were able to go out and discovered that Dr David Lawal and Ogunade had been kidnapped from his red RAV-4 Jeep with number plate KJA 720HE
