The notable Legal Luminary and Deputy Director General, Seyi Makinde Campaign Council 2023, Oyo North Senatorial District, Hon. Barr. Adeniyi John Farinto has expressed grief over call to glory of Sheikh Alamal Yeqeen Olohun Setemi and however described him as a fearless and outspoken Islamic Scholar.

Barr. Farinto who is a strong chieftain of People’s Democratic Party(PD) condoled people of Ayetoro-Ile and entire family members of the deceased in Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State, via a condolence statement made available to naijatodaynew.com

Ijio-born politician and Lawyer described late Sheikh Yeqeen Olohun Setemi as a fearless, outspoken and wise Islamic Scholar, who did not pretend to hide the truth when the need arose.

The Ex-member of Oyo State House of Assembly (2011-2015) for Iwajowa State Constituency also characterised him as a foremost preacher whose preachings and lectures while alive had saved many souls from going astray.

He said, he would sorely miss a man and sound Islamic lecturer, who throughout of his lifetime devoted to liberation of souls from ignorance to literacy.

Adding that, his God’s given talents, knowledge, wisdom and stance for truth to groom people regardless of reference to sources of their births would be equally missed.

He said, his death was a rude shock to Ayetoro-Ile and Iwajowa as a whole, sequel to his sound preachings and words of truth which had in no doubt liberated people from darkness to path of salvation and prosperity.

Barr. Farinto however asked people of Ayetoro-Ile and family members to take solace in the fact that, Sheikh Yeqeen Olohun Setemi came to this world with impactful records and left at an appropriate time as predestined by Allah.

He prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings, repose his gentle soul and also grant him Aljanatul Fridaos.

He also prayed almighty Allah to be with his bereaved families, Ayetoro-Ile, Iwajowa at large and equally provide them with equanimity to bear the painful loss.
