Sequel to eleventh hour intervention of Governor Seyi Makinde on endorsement of PDP State Publicity Secretary, Engr. Akeem Olatunji as the chairmanship candidate for Oluyole Local Government at the council poll slated for April 2024, the incumbent council chairman, Hon. Popoola Olaide Settle has acknowledged the governor’s pronouncement and however congratulated the winner on his victory.

According to him, “the very first day God has created the whole universe was the day he has appointed those who are going to rule the affairs of men”.
