Oyo: Gegun’s Holy Pilgrimage To Mecca Remains Rare Blessing To Ayetoro-Oke Land — Yèyé Oba, Ojewola Sarah Welcomes Monarch Back Home

Yeye Oba of Ayetoro-Oke Land, in Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Mrs Ojewola Kemi Sarah has described the holy pilgrimage of HRM Oba Najeemdeen Afolabi Adelaja TukurII, the Gegun of Ayetoro-Oke Land to Mecca as a rare blessing to the ancient town.

Yeye Oba in a welcoming statement issued in respect of the monarch’s pilgrimage to Mecca described the holy journey as a rare blessing to Ayetoro-Oke Land.

Ojewola Sarah said, she was grateful to God almighty that the monarch and his better half were able to visit the holy land and however performed all Hajj rites with sound health.

She maintained that, she prayed fervently for his and others’ hitch free exercises and rites in Mecca while he was going.

Yeye Oba felt elated and excited to welcome the monarch and others back home with sound health after some days in Mecca for those compulsory and strenuous Hajj rites.

She said, she had firm belief and assurance that the prayers and supplications that the monarch made in holy lands of Mecca and Medinah would be surely granted for prosperity of the town and its environs.

In another vein, Yeye Oba called on all sons and daughters of Ayetoro-Oke Land to throw more support behind the current reign of Oba Najeemdeen Afolabi in order to attain progress and development across the length and breadth of the town.

She prayed God almighty to bless the monarch with sound health, wisdom, knowledge and prosperity to make impactful kingship for the town.
