Eid el-Kabir: Share Love, Material Possessions To Others — Ex-Iseyin Council Boss, Alaran Congratulates Adherents Of Islam

Spread the love

As Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe are celebrating the festivity of Eid el-Kabir, the former Chairman, Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Saheed Adejare Alaran charged adherents of Islam to rededicate to cause of mankind by sharing love and material possessions at their disposal to all without any discrimination.

Hon. Alaran who is a strong chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) made this admonition in a release which he personally signed on occasion of Eid el-Kabir and made it available to news men.

Iseyin-born politician and business man felicitated adherents of Islam in Iseyin Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, and however asked them to show rededication to cause of mankind via sharing of love and material possessions to all without minding any dichotomy.

The Ex-Council Boss noted that the celebration, which is in place to honour the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim on the need to sacrifice his son(Ismael) as an act of obedience to God’s command, is not only for celebration, nor merry making but also to show kindness, love and other philanthropic gestures to others.

He charged them to think and reflect deeply on reason Prophet Ibrahim willingly decided and wholeheartedly made up his mind to make sacrifice of his son for God as a means of worship.

Adding that, the moral, economical and spiritual lessons which the celebration of Eid el-Kabir teaches should be inculcated in our ways of life.

Hon. Alaran called on them to celebrate in line with Islamic injunctions, so that the supplications and other religious engagements make at this period would be granted by Allah.

In another vein, he enjoined Muslims to use the period of celebration to pray for success of new leaders who had emerged in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

The APC Chieftain maintained that the prayers and other requests that are made during this period of festivity would no doubt be heeded and useful for Nigeria’s attainment of greater heights.

He wished all Muslims well and prayed that the the current celebration would be accompanied by joy, while the subsequent ones will meet all in peace but not in pieces.
