Eid el-Kabir: Mulikat Cheers Muslims, Tasks Them On Bringing Happiness, Pleasure To Hearts Of Others

2023 Candidate of Social Democratic Party(SDP) for Oyo North Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola has charged Muslims to multiply good deeds by bringing happiness and pleasure to the hearts of others without sentiment.

Ogbomoso-born politician and Legal Luminary made this admonition in a release made available to naijatodaynew.com on occasion of Eid-el-Kabir Celebration.

She cheered all adherents of Islam in Ogbomoso zone, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, and however tasked them to multiply good deeds by bringing happiness and pleasure to the hearts of others without any recourse to any status nor dichotomy.

The Ex-Lawmaker of the House of Representatives maintained that the celebration, which is in place to honour the readiness of Prophet Ibrahim on the need to sacrifice his son(Ismael) as an act of obedience to God’s command, is not only for celebration nor merry making alone but also to show kindness and love to others.

The philanthropist of note, asked them to reflect deeply on purpose Prophet Ibrahim passionately and wholeheartedly decided to make sacrifice of his son for Allah.

Adding that, the moral and spiritual lessons which the celebration of Eid el-Kabir teaches should be inculcated in their ways of life.

She called on them to celebrate in line with Islamic injunctions, so that the supplications and other religious engagements make at this period would be granted by God.

In another vein, the virtuous woman charged Muslims to use the period of celebration to pray for success of all leaders who had emerged across the country.

She maintained that the prayers and other requests that are made during this period of festivity would no doubt be heeded and useful for Nigeria’s attainment of greater heights.

Mulikat Akande wished all Muslims well and prayed that the the current celebration would be accompanied by joy, while the subsequent ones will meet all in peace but not in pieces.
