NACJ Calls For Mutual Executive-legislative Synergy In The Oyo 10th Assembly

The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists, NACJ, Oyo State Chapter, has felicitated Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin as the Speaker of the state House of Assembly and his deputy, Hon. Muhammed Fadeyi.

The association, in a statement issued on Friday by the Public Relations Officer, PRO, of the Association, Comrade Adeola Badru on extended its warmest congratulations to Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin and Honorable Fadeyi “on a well-deserved election as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly respectively.

The statement quoted as saying: “NACJ also commends the transparent and fair process that led to the emergence of the two distinguished lawmakers as leaders of the legislative arm of government in Oyo State.”

“It is believed that their election is a testament to the confidence reposed in them by their colleagues and a reflection of their commitment to upholding democratic values.”

“The association is confident that under the able leadership of Rt. Hon Debo Ogundoyin and Hon. Muhammed Fadeyi, the Oyo State House of Assembly will continue to work tirelessly towards formulation and enactment of laws and policies that will improve the lives of the people of Oyo State.”

“NACJ also uses this opportunity to call for a strong and cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government in Oyo State.”

“It emphasizes the importance of collaboration and cooperation in achieving sustainable development and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every citizen.”

“As Oyo State continues on its path towards progress, the association assures both the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, as well as all members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, of his unwavering prayer for the betterment of the state.”

The association, while wishing the new principal officers and other members of the 10th assembly a successful tenure in office, promised to ensure objective reportage of the legislative activities to enable the Assembly functions effectively.
