An anonymous cleric has warned Nigerians to shun sabotaging in their dealing as a new administration will be inaugurated across the country on May 29.
The cleric stated this in his morning cry on Friday along Ejioku-Erunmu Road, Lagelu Local government Area, Ibadan,Oyo State.
In his message he quoted from Proverbs 4 vs 29 ” do not devise evil against your neighbour , for he dwells by you for safety’s sake. Do not strive with a man without cause , if he has done you no harm”
The anonymous cleric noted that
deliberate character assassination of fellow Nigerians among themselves have remained the bane of the country’s socio-economic retrogression.
” Not really the outgoing administration led by Buhari is totally bad, some set of people wrongly advised him against the wish of others. Take for instance, in a situation whereby some set of people bring weakness of a region, or individuals to people in power and those people in power do not have the time to make investigation, did you know that such a harsh decision may be undertaken. All of these affected the outgoing government in the country”
The anonymous cleric enjoined elected and re-elected administrators in the country, especially in Oyo State to appoint God-fearing political appointees into their cabinets, adding those that have good background and antecedent in terms of academic, socio-moral and politics can only strengthen their good birth their governance.
Meanwhile, the cleric assured a smooth governance of Gov. Seyi Makinde for the 2nd Term, however cautioned the governor against listening to hearsays about party members and stakeholders in his government, including the journalists, but rather make formal findings for a righteous establishment, noting saboteurs in his administration will not enjoy his ambience no matter what.
” God has told me Makinde will succeed and have a better governance history in the state, however,he must refuse negative feedbacks from stakeholders be it in the party, from or about stakeholders, journalists or party members before conclusion “
” I am on the platform of God, what is sure is that wicked shall not go unpunished no matter what. Truth be told, no saboteurs in 2.0Mantra in Oyo State will enjoy the government” , anonymous cleric stressed.
Meanwhile, anonymous cleric called everyone to co-operate with government at all levels in the country as to enable desirable development.
