The Registrar, KolaDaisi University,Ibadan, Olawale Haruna Adetu has dedicated a fellowship award of the Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management, IPDCRM recently bagged to the KolaDaisi University, Ibadan academic environment.
The award presentation took place on Thursday in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Olawale Haruna Adetu, an inspiring and highly resourceful University Professional Administrator was Appointed Registrar, KolaDaisi University, Ibadan in October, 2022.
He holds three degrees, Bachelor of Science (Ed) in Economics, Master of Science degree in Economics and Master of Science degree in Business Administration with specialization in International Business, all from the Lagos State
University, Ojo, Lagos.
Prior to his appointment, he was member of the Governing Council of the Osun State University under the leadership of Mallam Yusuf Ali, (SAN); member of the University Tender Board; member of the Board of Global Affairs and Sustainable Development Institute (GASDI); Member, Needs Assessment Budget Monitoring Committee amongst others.
Adetu also served in some administrative sections of the University, amongst them, were, pioneer College Secretary, College of Humanity and Culture, Ikire Campus; Deputy Registrar & Secretary, Postgraduate College; Deputy Registrar & Secretary, College of Science, Engineering and Technology, all in the Osun State University, Osogbo. He has also served as secretary/member of many Standing and Ad-Hoc Committees of the University.
He was the pioneer Chairman of the Association of Nigeria University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), Osun State University Chapter and member of the National Executive Committee, (NEC) of the Association.
Adetu has attended several conferences and capacity-building workshops within and outside the country.

Speaking with newsmen after the award presentation, Olawale Adetu expressed his gratitude to the management of his Institution for appointing him a substantial registrar, noted that the award is a call to more commitment and dedication for a worthwhile development of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan.

However, Adetu called on the incoming administration in the country to be led by president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to improve education’s budget in the country , especially for university lecturers so as to improve research tendencies home and oversees.
Earlier, Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences, KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, Prof. Olajumoke Morenikeji maintained that non-payment of Federal university lecturers for several months and the meagre salary they take home as recorded in the outgoing Buhari Administration is a major setback for the educational sector of the nation. In addition, Prof. Morenikeji called on the federal government to allocate enough resources for the education of the teeming young Nigerians and fund basic infrastructure development in the educational sector. This will greatly disable the quest for foreign education and the ‘japa syndrome’ by Nigerians.
