The Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbeda Local Government Area has endorsed the candidacy of its current local government chairman,Hon. Sikiru Sanda Oyedele for a 2nd Term re-election in the forthcoming local council election next year April, 2024.
The endorsement was confirmed in a statement made available to Naijatodaynews.com by the Chairman ,People’s Democratic Party,(PDP) Egbeda Local Government Area, Chief Abel Aborisade and its secretary, Sangotunde Osuolale on Thursday, noting that the party has unanimously endorsed Sikiru Sanda Oyedele for 2nd Term in office following wonderful performance in Egbeda Council.
” The excos of PDP in Egbeda local government and wards chairmen after their extensive deliberation consequently endorsed the re-election of Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele as the local government chairman in the forthcoming local government election come April 2024″
The party noted that Hon. Sikiru Sanda Oyedele received the endorsement based on his charismatic leadership style in governance characterized in the developmental process in the area, stressed the need to maintain it for a worthwhile representation could only be made positive at his re-election.
” Having assessed Sikiru Sanda by the local government excos and ward chairmen led by Chief Abel Aborisade, we have all agreed to genuinely endorse him.”
” The motion for his re-election for second term was raised by Com. Lekan Bello, the senatorial youth leader and State excos representative and seconded by the party PRO, Chief Mrs Shade Okunola”, statement concluded.
