Sunset At Noon: Oyo NUJ Loses Two Great Journalists At A Time

Two great journalists have reportedly passed on Monday evening at a time.

The death news of Deacon Babatunde Ogunesan and Mrs Victoria Ojo filled the media space, shortly three Nollyhood artistes including Murphy Afolabi which has left the world bemused.

Late Tunde Ogunesan who was a former reporter with the Nigerian Tribune and currrent secretary, Saki-East local government Council was a religious, human relational, easy going, a counsellor and man of the people left the world to answer a yonder call.

Similarly, Mrs victoria Ojo was a member of the programme department,Federal Radio Corporation Of Nigeria(FRCN) remained a holiest female voice on radio, a competent and open-ended broadcaster until death.

In a statement issued by the publisher, Naijatodaynews.com,Prince Adetunji Fabode regarded the deceased as “two lost apples” in the eye of journalism of Oyo State who will be forever be remembered for their undaunting contributions.

Fabode urged the family, friends and relatives of deceased to take the courage as the pain of great colleagues pangs , noted God can only explain reasons behind the take-aways.

Meanwhile, a call has gone from the EFCC Boss, AbdulRasheed Bawa to everyone to take his health seriously, including the journalists as this can only enable lifelong plan on health.
