In an exclusive interaction with a resident in Ona-Ara Local Government area, Mr Bolaji Kumapayi with naijatodaynew.com on Tuesday evening, shortly after the heavy downpour , described inapproval of Olorunsogo- Tioya Road as a doorway to de-crediting efforts of the state government and Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project over the hugely construction of Ogbere-Tioya Bridge.

Kumapayi added that the newly reconstructed Ogbere-Tioya Bridge will attract more volume of water, urged for instant asphalt tarring of the bridge for easy passage of the motorists, motorcyclists and pedestrians.

He said , “only an ingrate will not credit administration of Gov. Seyi Makinde, especially as he earmarked more funds to reconstruction of Ogbere-Tioya Bridge which when visited few minutes ago while it rained , discovered to be full of excessive water”

” We, the residents of Ona-Ara call the attention of the governor to this place as no tarring is yet to be fixed over the Bridge.

He furthered, “should we say this huge project should be washed away in no long distant time? Never! Governor Makinde, true friend of the citizens, should approve complete asphalt tarring over and beyond the Bridge while dualization of Road from Olorunsogo extends further”, he said.
