Makinde Has Not Done Enough For My Late Husband – Florence Ajimobi

Wife of Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi has belittled the disposition of Oyo State government Led by Seyi Makinde towards her late husband,Abiola Ajimobi.

Florence Ajimobi lamented this while featuring on a private radio station in Ibadan,the capital of Oyo State on Saturday,stating that Governor Seyi Makinde has not done enough for her late husband.

Mrs Ajimobi frankly stressed that his late husband ‘s administration in the state had positive effect on all sectors of the State government, including her office and Oyo State Aids and Control Agency(OYSACA) which she served as a chairperson from between 2011 to 2019 with a huge landmark in terms of total reduction of HIV/AIDS patients in the state and other developmental projects laudably executed all through the Administration.

Ajimobi who acknowledged her husband’s immortalization on the popularly known First Technical University in the State recently to Abiola Ajimobi University, Ibadan, Oyo State, believed more dignity and recognition should be given her late husband.

The former first lady noted that Governor Seyi Makinde’s open appreciation to her on Saturday 25th on a private radio became questionable to the governor, stressing reason behind such move is yet to be known.

Chief Florence Ajimobi insisted that Seyi led administration returned to power for the 2nd Term of office was divinely done but never by hardwork.

” When God’s time is here, no one can stop it. My husband contested in 2003,2007 as governor, until 2011″,

” 2023, APC family worked and only by divine, the party lost. My son lost. My inlaw lost. Victory is divine” she submitted.

Meanwhile, Mrs Florence Ajimobi called on the All Progressives’ Congress, (APC) family and stakeholders to reunite and deal with weakness in the party in serious preparation ahead of the 2027 General Elections
