Oyo born-politician, Engr. Idris Adeoye has congratulated Hon. Tolulope Akande-Shadipe on her re-election as Oluyole federal constituency lawmaker.
Akande-Sadipe contested under the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was declared winner after polling 14,891 votes to defeat her closest rival, Mogbonjubola Olawale Mojeed of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 13, 073 votes after a re-run election which was held on Saturday, 15th April, 2023.
In his congratulatory message to the returned elected House of Representatives member, Engr. Idris Adeoye described Akande-Shadipe as a paliamentarian par excellence, he stressed that the outcome of the election represents the wishes of the people of Oluyole local government area and the sterling performance in the green chamber.
Engr. Adeoye also hailed the Oluyole electorates, with special commendation to the Ayegun Oleyo communities for their resilience and support, he further assured the constituents that their effort will not be in vain, and promised the speedy completion of ongoing 1km road project at Ayegun Oleyo.
He also showered encomium on the Baale of Ayegun Oleyo, Alh. Kabiru Olajide, Chairmen of Communities Associations and Mogaji Taofeek Oladipo, for supporting both Hon. Tolulope Shadipe-Akande and Senator-Elect, Dr. Yunus Akintunde in the 2023 general election.
Engr. Adeoye thereafter expressed confidence that the second term of Hon. Shadipe-Akande at the Green chamber will continue to be beneficial to the people of Oluyole federal constituency.
