Former Oyo State First Lady, Dr Mrs Florence Ajimobi has justified substantial reasons that are precluding her interest in politics.

Dr Ajimobi made the declaration on Saturday while featuring on a political show anchored by Isaac Brown on most popular private radio station in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Wife of Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi noted that politics is a herculean profession and only meant for somebody who has great thing in hands.

“I usually pity my husband in his time as he attended several meetings with the stakeholders of the All Progressives’ Congress(APC) which though, he tried to manage his home, but , it is not easy”, she said.

Dr Ajimobi added that she had a number of investments with needed attention, stressing that her husband has passed on and that she is not ready to take the political seat of her late husband in APC of Oyo State.

” I am a businesswoman. My son lost. My inlaw lost in the concluded elections. We have investments that need attention. My children and I take care of these. I am not ready to be a politician neither take my husband’s role in the Party. There are elders and stakeholders in the party. I am not a politician, never will I ever be!”

However, Dr Mrs Florence Ajimobi while assuring of maintaining the legacies of the Ajimobi’s dynasty, called on members of APC in the State to remain focused, united and internalize for better progress of the Party, come 2027.
