A candidate for Oyo Central Senatorial District on the platform of Accord Party, Engr.Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen held a 3rd Annual Ramadan Lecture on Friday 4th April, 2023 at the Labamba Hotel, Oyo.
In his keynote lecture, Ace Islamic Scholar Sheikh Muideen Ajani Bello urged muslim faithful to rely on Almighty Allah on all their endeavours as this will enable presence of Allah in all their ways.
Engr. Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen in his speech called for genuine love, oneness and togetherness among people regardless of any disparity, noting that it is the main message that the Ramadan preaches including kindness to humanity while seeking the favour of Allah.
Faozey urged the wealthy class to demonstrate kindness and concerned philanthropic gestures towards the poor for an improved and healthy relationship among people in the country.
The Ramadan Lecture had in attendance dignitaries from various walks of life, including the Basorun of Oyo and the entire Oyo Meesi, the Baales of Oyo, political personalities such as Alhaji Bisi Olopoeeyan, Hon Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi and Hon Rahman , representatives of the civil society, Islamic Organizations to mention but a few.
