The returning Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has shown appreciation to the proprietor of Ilaji Hotel and Resorts and ICAST Academy, Olubadan in- Council, Ex-Firstlady Florence Ajimobi, electorate and People’s Democratic Party, PDP family for deeming it fit to massively re-elect him for the 2nd Term in the State.

Ibadan traditional Chiefs at his property, Ilaji Hotels, I am greatly grateful to everyone, including the market traders ,artisans in the State”
Makinde who polled 566,766 in the just concluded Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly Elections on Saturday 18 March ahead of his closest rival in the All Progressives’ Congress, APC, Teslim Folarin gave his appreciation on Saturday 25th March on a private radio station, adding that Olubadan -in Council, and electorate demonstrated a sincere love and indication for a continued administration in the State through a satisfying election.
The governor noted that
he is pretty confident that his Party would floor the state’s most reverred opposition party,APC which traded Teslim Folarin at the Tribunal, adding that the election favoured his party based on mandate given by the citizens.
“In Ibadan here alone, in over 1,280 polling booths , PDP won this year”
” We won in Oyo, Ogbomosho, Ibarapa, we won while Irepo and Orelope delivered to APC , yet, Irepo has produced Deputy governor in Oyo State”, he said.
Makinde called on Teslim Folarin to push forward in his political ambition until success, accept defeat, called him to present his ideology for credible governance.
” I want to call on my rival, APC Guber candidate, Teslim Folarin to accept defeat, I lost in 2007,2011 and 2015, we will not be so proud to adopt his ideology ranging from Park Management System, PMS with a lot of advice even from him, all for better governance in the State” , he concluded.
