Oyo State Board Of Internal Revenue Service Cheers Makinde On Attainment Of Victory Over Reelection

The Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue Service and the entire staff, have congratulated the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on his re-election for another four years of second term.

The Board Led by the Chairman, Mr. Femi Awakan eulogized the governor for breaking the second term jinx
,saying his name has been written in gold in the annals of history of the pace setter State.

He said, the result of the Governorship election vividly spoke with loud voice that the people of Oyo state valued and appreciated his sterling achievements in all sectors of the economy under the OMITUNTUN 2.0 and crave its sustainability and more developments in all the zones of Oyo state.

“This victory is as a result of the hard work, teamwork, efficient resource allocation, openness and humility exhibited by the governor who has worked tirelessly to justify the confidence reposed in him by ameliorating the sufferings of the citizens and residents in Oyo state.

“Governor Makinde concentrated on issues that mattered most to Oyo people and they have spoken with loud voice, by voting for him and the honourable members of the PDP in a record-breaking victory of historic proportions, which confirmed that the voice of the people is the voice of God. “

The Board members and and the entire staff praised the ingenuity of the governor in the area of training and motivation of staff which has repositioned the revenue drive of Oyo state to the optimum level of performance thereby, pledging their unreserved commitment to achieve governor Seyi Makinde’s revenue agenda under the OMITUNTUN 2.0

The Board also extended the congratulatory message to the leadership of the party in the state, the deputy national chairman of party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, the state chairman, secretary, other executives and members of the PDP across the state as well as elder statesmen and political parties who endorsed and worked for Engineer Seyi Makinde’s victory in the Saturday’s poll.
