Following a dumbfounding winning of Makinde in the just concluded Gubernatorial Election with 566,766 votes as his closest APC rival Teslim Folarin had 256,685, the Governor of Oyo State has appreciated the entire citizens of the state for a sustained confidence in his strength and ability to lead the state for the 2nd Term.
Makinde gave a spontaneous address after he was declared winner by Chairman, returning officer, Independent National Electoral Commission in Oyo State, Prof. Adebayo Bamire credited the State for electing him for the second term.
Speaking with newsmen at the Government House,Secretariat,Ibadan,Makinde pledged to speed up administrative works as structured Omituntun 2.0 which calls for more hardwork as to ensure a sustained development in the state.
The Governor of Oyo State has dedicated his victory to both citizens in the state and Almighty God.
” This is an admiring victory but it calls for more works for me as I kept saying all through the campaign move”
” I want to appreciate friends, elders, colleagues who did well to ensure the victory, I hereby state here that more time, more work”
” I pledge to work more for the sustainability of the State as the entire State believes in my strength and ability to lead”, Makinde concluded.
