As the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin continues to reach out to the constituents of Ibarapa East State Constituency on possibility of his reelection at the poll slated for Saturday, March 18, 2023, residents said, the continuous support giving to him was as a result of unprecedented legacy of his late father.
The Speaker as an indigene of Eruwa township has been engaging in door to door campaign with a view to seeking support over fruition of his emergence at the next gubernatorial and state assembly elections.
Mr Oladayo Akinola who spoke with naijatodaynew.com disclosed that, the people of Eruwa township and Ibarapa East Local Government as a whole are no doubt giving continuous support to Ogundoyin based on his late father’s philanthropic gesture and unprecedented legacy.
Akinola added that, people would not mind what the current administration has failed to do for people of Eruwa and Ibarapa Zone as a whole but they would ensure they give massive votes to the speaker in order to ascertain his representation of the constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly.
He called on Ogundoyin to ensure his fulfills every promise makes during his electioneering campaign because of his future political engagements.
Akinola charged the speaker to continue monitoring every project he intends to execute across the wards making Ibarapa East State Constituency, maintaining that, people keep condemning him for non-performance because he failed to monitor projects which he had implemented so far.
Also, Mrs Adeyemo Yemisi known as ‘Iyawo Sibesibe’ enjoined Ogundoyin to renew his pledge with people of the local government, with sincerity and truth to fulfill every promise after winning the election.
Yemisi said, the hardship which people were passing through had outrightly made them to lose interest in voting any candidate into power.
She however called on speaker to follow path of his father, who spent his entire life to show kindness and other philanthropic gestures to people around him and beyond.
