…I’ll be fair, just, equitable to all if elected again-Speaker
The executives and general members of Labour Party, Allied People’s Movement(APM) and New Nigerian People’s Party(NNPP) across the three local governments making Ibarapa Zone, axis of Oyo State have declared support for reelection of Governor Seyi Makinde and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin.
While welcoming them, the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin thanked them for showing him and Makinde the needed support that would culminate in victory at the poll.
Ogundoyin promised to be fair, just and equitable in allocation of democratic dividends to all and sundry if elected back to the hallow chamber of the State House of Assembly.
Among those who led declaration of supports for the duo are Hon. Opeyemi Ayanrinde(MC Swagger), candidate of APM for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Hon. Adesope Gbemileke Abiodun, candidate of Labour Party for Ibarapa East State Constituency, NNPP executives and teaming members of the three political parties.
In an interaction with naijatodaynew.com, Ayanrinde who is popularly known as ‘MC Swagger’ said he was ready to give necessary and unflinching support to both Makinde and Ogundoyin for their possible emergence at the poll slated for Saturday March 8, 2023.
MC Swagger, maintained that the two public office holders have meritoriously performed in their respective capacities and their continuity needs to go beyond 2023.
He said the people of Oyo State are feeling Makinde’s positive impacts on areas of education,health, agric business, transportation,and infrastructure among others.
On Ogundoyin, MC Swagger commended him for being a vibrant and competent speaker whose charismatic leadership at the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly had birthed countless bills and motions needed to promote the state.
Hon. Gbemileke Abiodun who intended to contest under the platform of LP for same state constituency with Ogundoyin had rescinded his decision to participate at the poll, and however throws weight behind Oyo Speaker in order to win with wide margin at the next poll.
Abiodun said, Ogundoyin’s convinced mastery of legislation and leadership capacity at Oyo State House of Assembly were the major factors that necessitated his declaration of unflinching support for him.
The executives and members of APM, LP and NNPP in Ibarapa Zone have shown declaration of support for the duo in order to coast home to victories.
Meanwhile, strong talks are ongoing with the leadership of Accord Party in the state, to support the emergence of the duo in the election rescheduled for March 18, 2023.
