Former Governor of Oyo State,Sen. Rashidi Ladoja has called on citizens of the state to massively vote for the All Progressives’ Congress, APC in the week postponed Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections slated for Saturday, March 18.
The Ibadan most reverred High Chief stated this on Friday while addressing members of the APC, SDP and NNPP in his residence.
Ladoja noted that the ruling party governor on the platform of PDP,Seyi Makinde is a wicked personality and a traitor who does not deserve second term in office.
” The disposition of the state ruling party’s governor in Oyo State is highly wicked, he lost three senators at the last presidential/National Assembly Elections without any remorse, a repeat of 2019 when coalition was formed with him with no honour, no second chance is meant for him”, he added.
The former state governor, Ladoja appealed to all members of the All Progressives’ Congress and recently coalited Social Democratic Party (SDP) and New National People’s Party ( NNPP) to work harmoniously together for a worthwhile progress in the state.
The Otun Olubadan credited the governor of Osun State, Sen.Ademola Adeleke for historically pacesetting the state in terms of good staff welfare for both civil,public and Pensioners within his first 100 days.
” What the ruling governor regards a governmental success, largely prompt payment of staff salary has been swallowed within the first three months of ruling of Ademola Adeleke with a worthwhile delivery without leaving total clearance of staff and pensioner’s payment backlogs, so it is believed Folarin will outperform him when elected”, Ladoja stressed.
Ladoja called on the electorate to adopt the candidacy of Senator Teslim Folarin while any grudge held against him without a substantive reason should be drawn out.
He emphasized that the All Progressives’ Congress, APC will bring good representation in the state while both party member and Oyo State citizens should massively perform their civic right in honour of the better government to be steered by Teslim Folarin.
