With a view to ensuring reelection of Rt.Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin into the hallow chamber of Oyo State House of Assembly, constituents in Ibarapa East State Constituency have begun mobilization and canvassing for his return.
Ogundoyin who aims at representing Ibarapa East State Constituency on third consecutive terms would have been among candidates to be voted for on Saturday, March 11, before INEC made announcement of election’s postponement till Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Mr Liadi Yahya known as ‘Kango BabaOba from Ward04, Aborerin Eruwa, in an interaction with naijatodaynew.com described the speaker of 9th Oyo State House of Assembly as a true son of the soil who has tried on areas of health, religious integration, electricity, education and road networks among others.
Kango BabaOba stressed that, Ogundoyin had built hospitals, mosque, erected functional streetlights, donated transformers and work diligently on rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads across the nooks and crannies of Eruwa township.
He however tasked Ogundoyin, if elected should work on completion of all uncompleted projects that spread across Ibarapa East Local Government.
Kango Baba Oba said, without being economical with the truth, Ogundoyin deserves to be reelected in order to ensure completion of all projects he had started.
Mr Ibrahim Alarape, who is also a constituent and indigene of Eruwa township, condemned Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District and member of the House of Representatives for IbarapaEast/Ido Federal Constituency, for their alleged failure to extend dividends of democracy to Ibarapa East Local Government.
Alarape however described Ogundoyin as a good lawmaker and representative whose impacts have been felt on provision of water via drilling of boreholes, and expansion of democratic dividends to all.
He added that, Ogundoyin had tried on transformation of his source but only needs to work on followers who are not sincere with him on his leadership.
Meanwhile, the speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundeyin earlier held a community meeting with the members in the area, assuring them of certainty of good and quality representation if reelected.
