The Caretaker Chairman, Accord Party in Oyo State, Alhaji(Hon.) Salami Isiaka Olalekan known as ‘Obè’ has reiterated commitment to victory of party’s gubernatorial candidate, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu and other Assembly candidates as election holds on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

The new caretaker chairman of Accord Party in Oyo State, whose notice of appointment was effected in a letter written on Wednesday, March 08, 2023 by the party’s national chairman, Hon. Muhammad L. Nalado to INEC’s National Chairman, stressed that Oloye Adebayo Adelabu has required knowledge, wisdom, leadership experience and administrative charisma to lead the pacesetter state to the promised land.

Adding that, the party’s Assembly candidates who are jostling to represent their respective constituencies have better mastery of legislative tasks with readiness to deliver unprecedentedly.

Hon. Isiaka Obè enjoined people of the state and most especially the eligible voters to consider personality who can drive the state to enviable position while exercising their civic responsibility.

He asked them to be mindful of people who they want to vote for, stressing that that choice of wrong candidate is tantamount to bringing of hooliganism back to the society.

Okeho-born politician maintained that people should vote wisely at the poll slated for Saturday, March 18 in order to correct all failures and imperfection which had become order of the day in education, health, transportation sectors and others.

He said, it was so pathetic, disheartening and worrisome that the current administration led by Governor Seyi Makinde had jettisoned template of efficiency which was initiated by his successors to maintain lead in education.

Not only but also added that the local government administrative system has been technically killed by Makinde’s led administration, sequel to his reluctance to release due allocations to respective local councils.

Hon. Isiaka Obè however asked electorate to believe in the candidature of Adelabu, whom he described as a sound economic and financial expert whose cognate experience and knowledge would be used to take the state to where it ought to be.

He acknowledged Adelabu as a man of his words, whose promises made at electioneering campaign would be fulfilled if elected.

Hon. Isiaka Obè enjoined electorate to vote him and party’s assembly candidates at the next elections, saying their ascension into offices would no doubt facilitate accelerated development to all nooks and crannies of the state.
