As a way of consolidating his victory in the last Saturday’s Elections, the Senator Elect for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Sen. (Dr) Yunus Abiodun Akintunde has expressed his utmost gratitude to the good people of the constituency for their Support and votes which was the reason he emerged victorious at the poll.
The Senator-Elect, while applauding the people of Oyo central senatorial district for their steadfastness and commitment to the All Progressives Congress, APC, noted that the massive votes which catapulted him to victory would not have been possible if not for the hope and confidence reposed on the party by them.
He, however, acknowledged them for being stalwarts of the APC, saying that only a trustworthy and faithful could stand tall to deliver their party in an election irrespective of the oppression and intimidation they may receive from opposition and ruling party.
Akintunde, further reiterated the need for the good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District to vote the Gubernatorial candidate and all House of Assembly candidates of the APC in Oyo state in the next Saturday’s elections. He said the APC was the only hope of the common man in Oyo state, and as such urged the people to stand firm to cast their votes for all candidates of the party so as to attain victory just as he did in the Senatorial poll.
He disclosed that the Gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Oyo state, Sen Teslim Kolawole Folarin, is a Man of his words would do all he can to address the plight of the people of Oyo state without reneging on any of his campaign promises.
He added that Oyo state is due for the best leadership, and that leadership rests on the shoulder of Sen Teslim Kolawole Folarin, whom he described as a God sent, to deliver good governance and excellent leadership prowess to Oyo state.
