At 2.40pm, after collating Presidential results from 16 local government areas in the state, INEC, Oyo State, has suspended the process until after 4pm.
The suspension of the process was pronounced by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oyo State, Dr. Adeniran Tella after collation of some local government areas by the returning officers
The collation team, led by Acting Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Abẹ́òkúta, Prof. Olúṣọlá Babatunde, collated results from Ibadan North, Kajola, Atisbo, Lagelu, Itesiwaju, Afijio and Atiba local governments
Others include, Oyo East, Oyo West, Isẹ́yìn, Ibarapa East, Saki East, Ibarapa North and Ibarapa Central, Oyo east, Iwajowa, Ido local governments
Results in some polling units in Kajola, Lagelu, Ibarapa East and Atisbo local governments were cancelled due to alleged over-voting while ballot box was snatched by migrants but later recovered by the Nigeria police force at a polling Unit in the latter, meanwhile,APC has cleared 14LGs out of 16 declared so far.
Present at the collation centre include, Commissioners of Police, Ọyọ state, Adebowale Williams, other security operatives, observers, EFCC, IPAC chairman, Apostle Dare Ojo, political party agents and other stakeholders.
