The PDP Candidate for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Alhaji(Hon.) Najeemdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji has won the election with 1731 votes’ differences.
Oyedeji who is fondly called ‘O’Shine’ has scored the total votes of 30,372 while his runner up in APC, Dr.(Engr) Soliu Abu Gbadamosi scored 28,821 votes.
The results that were declared at INEC office in Iseyin Local Government revealed that, O’shine had 5407 in Itesiwaju LG, 8562 in Iseyin LG, 10, 822 in Kajola LG and 5581 in Iwajowa LG respectively.
Soliu Abu Gbadamosi scored 3090 in Itesiwaju LG, 12,374 in Iseyin LG, 8196 in Kajola LG and and 5161 in Iwajowa LG respectively.
Prof. Durotoye Adeolu Adeleke the Returning Officer for the Federal Constituency who got results of four local governments making the Federal Constituency commended the returning officers for job weldone.
The Political parties’ agents who were also in attendance affirmed results that tricked in from respective local governments and however pended their signatures for acceptability of those results.
