EXCLUSIVE: Oyo REC Has Intention Of Vote Rigging — Olopoeyan Says

The southwest leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeniyan has accused the current Oyo resident electoral commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission, Dr Tella Adeniran Rahman of looping for an electoral rigging in the future elections.

This was stated on Saturday 25th February, shortly after observing his civic right at the presidential/national assembly elections in Ibadan the capital of Oyo State, adding that failure of the state’s INEC commissioner to enable almost two thousand of the party agents to function at the election.

Olopoeniyan noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Oyo state deliberately made him lose activeness of 1,754 out of accredited 6,358 which has affected his party in the ongoing General Elections.

Southwest NNPP Leader who specifically ,pointed out that many of his party agents were dishonoured at the polls, against the laws guiding the year’s elections.

Olopoeniyan stressed that it will be more ideal the current Oyo Rec., DR Adeniran addresses failure to enable party agents participation as to avoid violence trigger in the future elections in both the country and state.

He called on the Oyo Rec. to ensure proper planning and integration of all his registered party agents to actively participate in the 11th March, 2023 Elections otherwise , all other contesting politicians will regard him partial and to give a rise to vote rigging.

Olopoeniyan who said his part has lost confidence in the Oyo resident electoral commissioner, as he appeared favouring a political party with all registered party agents, called on Prof. Yakoob Mahmood engineer proper planning and integration of all his registered party agents to actively participate in the 11th March, 2023 Elections otherwise , all other contesting politicians will regard him partial and to give a rise to vote rigging.
