A gubernatorial candidate under the platform of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Senator Teslim Folarin said Oyo state could be boosted through cassava production.
APC gubernatorial Candidate stated this during a press conference in Ibadan on Tuesday, noting that with his political experience, cassava production will be prioritized which undoubtedly could trigger the state’s internally generated revenue.
Folarin added that the state, being an agrarian zone has more advantage in successful cassava production than any other state in the country.
He added that his political prowess is a plus for a diversifying economical governance therefore giving him a huge opportunity over other political candidates in the state.
” I am here to sell myself and I believe I am the only Candidate that will come to this office well prepared”
” I want to inform you that the present government came into office with a learner’s plate
” You will recall that security is key to an economy growth, so where thuggery and fear operate, you cannot stabilise economy ” , he said.
Senator Folarin said his administration will concentrate on cassava production,through which production of ethanol could be promoted.
He stressed that ethanol in its concentration is possible when there is boost for cassava production in the state which could make the state equivalent in ethanol production with Thailand, adding that the state’s Economy could be boosted by 30 percent more.
He further stated that ethanol production will encourage foreign investors into the state; reiterating his efforts to institute a worthwhile security intelligence which in no long secure lives and properties of the citizens.
Folarin enjoined all electorate to keep out of shadow and vain promises which will invariably have no value on them but rather consider manifestoes prepared political candidates for consideration before choosing who to elect through which their wishes for the state come to reality.
In the meantime, Folarin called on citizens to collect their PVCs before the deadline date as to enable them participate actively well in the forthcoming general elections this year on February 25th and March 11th, 2023 to with massive votes for Tinubu/Shettima and and all APC Candidates from top to bottom.
