The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has showered encomiums on all daughters and sons of Ibarapaland over warmth reception given to Engr Seyi Makinde while in the axis of the state.

According to him, “the turn-out was amazingly impressive and electrifying. The enthusiasm and love shown by our people to His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde was palpable and undisguised.
“I therefore wish to appreciate all sons and daughters of Ibarapaland for the hospitality and warm reception accorded our Governor during his 2day visit to Eruwa and indeed Ibarapa zone.
“Like the Governor did say issues of projects and development agitating our minds are gradually been addressed by this administration.
“According to the Governor, despite the mismanagement and embezzlement of money meant for the repair of Ido-Eruwa road by the immediate past administration, the road will be fixed inline with his vision to link Ibarapa zone to Ibadan. To equally link Ibarapa to Okeogun, the road from Iganna to Igangan to Igboora is ongoing as the project has been re-awarded. Likewise, His Excellency has promised to sign the contract for the Igboora road junction to Northern/Central boundary as soon as the contract file is perfected by the Commissioner.
“We also have assurances from the Governor that Eruwa Dam will be fixed while the mobilization for Eruwa Farm Settlement would be done in the first few weeks of 2023.
“As a representative of Ibarapaland in this administration, I will continue to lobby for more political and economic favors to our zone”, Ogundoyin ended.
