The Coalition of Kajola Media Organizations has fixed Wednesday and Thursday, 14 &15 December, 2022 for the proposed Political Debate for all Candidates aspiring for Oyo State House of Assembly and Green Chamber of National Assembly at the general elections coming in 2023.
The Secretary of the Media organizations who also doubled as the NUJ Secretary Oke -Ogun Chapter, Comrade Khalid Imran made this known during a telephone chat with him today.
Comrade Imran, expressed his displeasure over inability to hold the programme on earlier dates, describing it as disappointment associated with unavoidable circumstances.
He stated further that the new dates have been fixed for the proposed debates for both the State House of Assembly and the House of Representative Candidates. The dates are Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th December, 2022.
The NUJ Secretary also seized the opportunity to remind the public that Okeho Town Hall remains the venue for the event and 3:pm is the time.
He however regretted whatever inconvenience this might cause to all Candidates involved as
well as the general public, adding that the organisers will be happy to receive all and sundry come 14th and 15th of December.
