The SDP Candidate for Oyo North Senatorial District, Rt Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola has said she would prioritise the welfare of the people of her senatorial district if elected to represent them at the red chamber of National Assembly come 2023.
The former majority leader of the House of Representatives made this pledge recently while flagging up her campaign in Iseyin, Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State
Ogbomoso-born politician reiterated commitment to better standard of living and genuine empowerments with pursuance of legislation aimed at promoting the well-being and welfare of the constituents.
“In all modesty, I have assured you all of a new dawn in the history of legislative representation in Oyo North Senatorial District . I have equally, promised to represent the constituents with commitment, integrity and passion, leveraging on past experiences I acquired over the years as a lawyer and politician to enhance betterment of constituents across the senatorial district”.
“I will continue to empower the youths, women, elders and carry out human capital and infrastructural developments in Oyo North Senatorial District. I had done this before as as a member of the House of Representatives and I will sustain and enhance such pro-people programmes.
I will put my Constituents as priority in the legislative chamber by sponsoring notable bills for the interest of senatorial district and Nigerians at large in the House,if elected”
Mulikat added: “I will consider it as the greatest honour of my life if you, my people in Oyo North Senatorial District, find me worthy to represent them at the House of Senate on the platform of SDP. I, therefore, urge you all to turn out in large numbers to elect me as the next member to represent Oyo North Senatorial District.
