Former chieftain of Oyo People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Adebisi Olopeyan has congratulated Sen. Ademola Adeleke on his swearing-in as the executive governor of Osun state.
The NNPP southwest leader who witnessed Adeleke’s inauguration ceremony in Osogbo
on Sunday said, the people of the State of the Living Spring have begun to witness good governance.
Olopoeyan’s message which was personally signed by him reads ” I congratulate His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke who was sworn in yesterday as the 6th Civilian Governor of Oyo State.
Your excellency sir, your victory in the election is proof that Osun people have become well informed and therefore, guided by self-decision in making their choice. I believe you can lay a solid rock foundation and build unshakable economic pillars for your state.
The journey so far wasn’t smooth but it is a divine one, I am sure with your wide exposure and preparation for the task, you will use the position to do good to humanity and pursue the development attempts of the State to write your name in gold.
I believe that only a man with a vision for his state could make such a long journey, notwithstanding the rigors of preceding unsuccessful attempts. I urged you not to allow the actions of misguided and self-serving bureaucrats to blur this noble vision you have for your people of Oyo state.
” More so, I rejoice with our people in Osun state, what I witnessed during the inauguration has shown that, Senator Adeleke is loved by his people and electing him as governor of Osun state is a planned decision”
