Miojiyamo Political Group in People’s Democratic Party(PDP), of Oyo State that is led by the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and former Executive Vice Chairman, OnaAra Local Government, Mogaji Akinlolu Adegboyega known as ‘AkinOosa, has thrown its weight behind the Governor’s reelection.
Members of the group under the chairmanship of Imam Abdul-Raheem Apesinmoje made their position known on possibility of Makinde’s reelection at a fortnightly meeting held at the residence of the convener, AkinOosa in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Shortly after the meeting, Apesinmoje disclosed that they are drumming support for Makinde’s reelection because of his tremendous and unprecedented achievements in all sectors of the state.
The Chairman stressed that, Makinde has become a primus inter pare and achiever whose performances are obvious to the blind and audible to the deaf.
While expatiating on Makinde’s attained projects, Apesinmoje maintained that the governor had recorded unprecedented feats on roads’ construction, education, health, agric business and transportation among others.
He stressed that Makinde needs to get reelected in order to complete many of the projects which he had embarked upon.
Apesinmoje reiterated their commitment to oneness, unity of PDP across the state and however prayed for speed recovery of AkinOosa.
According to AkinOosa “I commend and appreciate the governor on the reconstruction of Oremeji-Agugu Oke-Ogbere road – airport road which is on-going on behalf of the community appreciate him because he is a talk and do governor”.
Among those who were in attendance are Former executive Vice-chairman, Ona Ara Local Government and Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Egbeda/OnaAra Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Mogaji Akinlolu Adegboyega known as ‘Akin Oosa’ and Hon Hakeem Taiwo Oke, former Ona Ara Local Government Chairman and Full Time Member of Oyo State Local Government Civil Service Commission
